Thanks all for the input. So not to worry about the 85 legs being the same length then.

The first set were off the first RE and had different length left and right stanchion lengths as I expected (669mm and 663mm, +/- a mm or so). The second set were off what I assume was a later m...

Ron, I did, they've not bothered responding ... :( The other two organisations also make their hoses in silicone and any colour. The main issue is that all of them create steel mandrels on which to construct the hoses, so a) they need a sacrificial set, and b) some indication of likely further sales...

Hi, Is anyone aware of a manufacturer of a set of replacement water hoses for an RE? It is early days on my rebuild, but I'm planning ahead. I was wondering if there was a Samco-a-like available? I've asked questions of a couple of manufacturers here in the UK, who seem interested in producing somet...

Mr. Daugherty,

Many thanks for the welcome. I've been reading the articles on your website about various servicing and tweaking stuff for the VFs. Thanks for making this stuff available.

Hi, I thought I should introduce myself here, since I've been browsing the site and found lots of good information here, along with a knowledgeable community. I have just bought two VF1000Rs from ebay here in the UK, I've always wanted one and the chance for a "buy one, get one free" was too good to...
